Managing your account on ShaBarber is simple, secure, and gives you full control over your bookings and personal information. Below, you'll find everything you need to know about setting up and managing your account.
1. Registering for an Account
To make a booking on ShaBarber, you’ll need to create a free account. During registration, we require the following details:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Password
- Valid Card Payment Method (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
All payment details are securely handled via Stripe, and no card information is stored on our servers.
2. Logging In
To log in to your account, visit login page and enter your registered email address and password. If you've forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password" link to reset it via email.
3. Logging Out
To log out, simply click on Logout. We recommend logging out after your session, especially when using a shared device.
4. Managing Your Account
Under your profile settings, you can manage your personal information at any time. You can:
- Update your First Name
- Update your Last Name
- Change your Phone Number
- Reset your Password
To make these changes, go to Your Account from your profile menu and edit the relevant fields.
5. My Bookings
Within your account, you can access a full history of your bookings:
- View upcoming appointments
- See the status of pending or confirmed bookings
- Cancel eligible bookings
- Review past completed services
You will also receive email notifications about all status updates, including confirmations and cancellations.
6. Managing Payment Methods
You can manage your payment methods securely from the Payment Methods section of your account. Here, you can:
- Add a new credit or debit card
- Remove existing cards
- Select your default payment method
All card information is processed securely via Stripe. ShaBarber does not store your card details on our servers.
7. Security & Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. Your password is encrypted, and sensitive actions (like changing your password or email) may require email confirmation for added security. Please review our Privacy Policy for more info.
