ShaBarber Terms & Conditions

Effective as of April 2025

1. Account Registration

To make a booking, users must create an account with a valid email, phone number, full name, password, and a default card payment method (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express).

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • All information provided must be accurate and kept up to date.

2. Booking & Approval

Once registered, users may select services and available time slots to create a booking. All bookings initially have a Pending status. Bookings require manual approval by ShaBarber to become Confirmed.

Upon approval, the user’s saved payment method (default payment method) will be charged the full service fee. Users will receive email confirmation and booking status updates.

3. Payments

All payments are securely processed via Stripe. Once a booking is approved, payment is taken automatically from the default card on file.

Security Notice: ShaBarber does not store any card data. All sensitive card information is securely handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel bookings while they are in Pending or Confirmed status.
  • No fee is charged for cancellations made in Pending status.
  • A £10 cancellation fee applies if the booking is:
    • Canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time
Late cancellations impact business operations. Please cancel in advance where possible.

5. No-Show Policy

If a customer does not attend their appointment and does not cancel, the booking will be automatically marked as a No Show.

A £10 no-show fee will be applied to cover lost time and operational costs.

6. Customer Conduct

  • Customers are expected to arrive on time and behave respectfully.
  • Abusive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior may result in refused service or account suspension.
  • Repeated no-shows or violations of policy may result in booking restrictions.

7. Salon Rights

  • ShaBarber reserves the right to reschedule or cancel appointments in unforeseen circumstances.
  • Services may be refused if the customer appears intoxicated, disruptive, or poses a health/safety concern.

8. Limitation of Liability

ShaBarber is not liable for any personal injury, allergic reaction, or dissatisfaction resulting from any service provided, unless caused by proven negligence.

Customers are encouraged to disclose any allergies or medical concerns prior to the appointment.

9. Data Protection & Privacy

We respect your privacy. Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. No card data is ever stored on our systems.

Only information required to operate your account and fulfill services will be collected and securely stored.

10. Changes to Terms

ShaBarber may modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or through your dashboard.
